If you're almost or just over the acne phase and starting your adulthood with fresh, beautiful skin, you need to know how to keep it that way. Adult acne hits almost everyone at some point, and just because your skin is clear now doesn't mean it's always going to be that way. This article will go over some simple steps to make sure that your skin stays beautiful for a lifetime. Not surprisingly, many of the steps to keeping beautiful skin are also great steps to staying healthy (go figure!).

Eat right for beautiful skin. Eating a diet that is based on fruits, vegetables, and nuts will keep you feeling good and make sure that your skin stays clear and radiant. Meat, sugar, and bread will add unnecessary crap into your body that will clog your pores and your intestines (eww!). Back up your healthy diet with lots and lots of water. You should drink at least three times the water that you do everything else during the day.

It keeps your insides clean and your face clear.

Exercise to flush out your pores. When sweat comes out of your pores it brings some of the gook that lives inside with it. Frequent exercise helps keep the gook from ever building up. This will prevent acne from the source and maintain your great figure and clear skin. Be sure to wash your face well after exercise to remove any buildup that may settle when the sweat dries.

Stay out of the sun. It's great to be tan, but too much sun will lead to serious wrinkles. Sun damaged skin is an obvious sign once you get older. Be sure to wear sun screen when outside for prolonged periods of time, and avoid tanning salons. The sun is always free!
